The “Western Pacific” was incorporated into the Union Pacific in 1983 as depicted by the road number on

the locomotive UP 1983. The “Katy” was incorporated into the Union Pacific in 1988 as depicted by the

road number on the locomotive UP 1988. The “Missouri Pacific” was incorporated into the Union

Pacific in 1982 as depicted by the road number on the locomotive UP 1982. These additional UP ACe

units operate most everywhere in North America including many eastern roads.
